The FoodTalk Awards
If you’re going to surprise, delight and excite diners and food lovers everywhere, you need to push the boundaries of cuisine. From new kitchen gadgets and new products to innovative flavours, processes and techniques, the world of food is always on the lookout for things that will set the taste buds dancing. The FoodTalk Awards have been created to do just that. By promoting and encouraging innovation within the industry, they hope to propel cooking to a whole new level and give home cooks, chefs and diners something to really shout about.
Following the huge success of the 2017 awards, the event will be returning in the New Year. To help ensure the awards are even bigger, better and more successful, we’re very proud to announce that we’ll be doing the PR for the event. We’ll use our extensive expertise and experience to tell the world all about the innovative entrants that make the awards so exciting and help to get the word out to food lovers everywhere.
Celebrating innovation in food
The first ever FoodTalk Awards were held earlier this year as part of London Tech Week. Inspired by the foodie heroes who appear every week on The FoodTalk Show, the awards celebrate everything that is groundbreaking and forward-thinking in food. Among the bright minds competing for awards were companies producing exciting culinary-themed apps, software, gadgets and product ranges. All unique, original and innovative in their own ways, these are the products that are going to shape the culinary scene of tomorrow.
All the products and businesses that featured in the 2017 awards line-up were fascinating in their own ways. From Boozy Udders, a business producing exotically flavoured ice cream, to Toast Ale, a brewery pushing the boundaries of beer, the line-up was truly delicious.
The FoodTalk Awards 2018
In 2018, the awards are going to be bigger and better. The call for entries has already been issued and companies, inventors and individuals around the country have begun sending in their products for consideration. The awards themselves will again take place as part of London Tech Week and will be held on the 15th June in the Banking Hall in the City.
With our powerful PR team on the case, the 2018 awards will attract even more attention and entries than the 2017 event. This should help to make the awards even more exciting and cement their place as an essential event on the annual foodie calendar.
