Celebrating the success of the Kimberly-Clark Professional Golden Service Awards 2026

For the past 17 years, Suzanne Howe Communications has organised the Golden Service Awards for Kimberly-Clark Professional™.

Created over 30 years ago, the biennial awards scheme is one of the most prestigious events and sought-after accolades in the FM and cleaning industry.

The event provides the opportunity for FM companies, contract cleaners and in-house cleaning teams to showcase excellence and set the benchmark for exceptional standards. Today, this industry provides front-line essential workers across business sectors, all of which are recognised and celebrated at the Golden Service Awards.

The Kimberly-Clark Professional Golden Service Awards 2026, received 108 applications across 18 categories, which included the bonus categories Supervisor of the Year and Cleaning Operative of the Year.

“We have worked closely with Kimberly-Clark Professional since 2009 to deliver the Golden Service Awards,” says SHC managing director Suzanne Howe. “As the sector is so important to our business, we look forward to working with KCP in the future to celebrate further success in the cleaning and FM industry.”

Kimberly-Clark Professional introduced a charity partner for 2026. Bowel Cancer UK is the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity, determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. A total of £5k was raised at the event.

Results

Across the campaign, four Press Releases achieved 72 pieces of coverage, reaching and audience of 6.5 million, with 485 brand mentions, and an impact of 343,000.

There were 18 posts on the KCP company LinkedIn page throughout the campaign, with 9,529 views and an engagement rate of 7.18%.

There was an enhanced and easier to navigate website for 2026, with an improved entry process. From July 2025 to July 2026 the website reached and audience of 11,642, with: 23,318 page views; 98,455 interactions; and 38,198 scroll events.

Judging

Kimberly-Clark Professional™ would like to extend its thanks to Neil Spencer-Cook, Group Managing Director at the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) and his very professional team.

The judging team was responsible for: the paper judging day and selection of the finalists; 34 site visits, with an additional 19 on-site interviews across the Supervisor and Cleaning Operative categories; and 16 online Teams calls.
