Dina Foods heads for PLMA in Amsterdam

Mediterranean food supplier Dina Foods will be heading to Amsterdam to showcase its on-trend range of authentic Lebanese breads and confectionery at the PLMA World of Private Label Show on 31 May to 1 June 2022.

The two-day event will bring together own-label suppliers of food and drink, as well as non-foods, from across the world. London-based Dina Foods, on stand F8408, will be one of 2000 exhibitors at the Show, held in halls 7 and 8 of the RAI Exhibition Centre.

Dina Foods Project Director Wilda Haddad says that Dina Foods has customers in countries including France, Germany, Holland, Iceland, Spain, Gibraltar and Belgium, and is seeing sales volumes increasing as Europe opens up again after the coronavirus pandemic.

The team at Dina Foods is looking forward to meeting up with existing customers and making new connections with retailer and foodservice companies from across Europe at PLMA.

“This will be a great opportunity to show visitors our high-quality ranges. We are seeing an industry-wide trend for authentic Lebanese cuisine.  Consumers are seeking out authentic Lebanese products such as our speciality breads or Baklawa. All our products also tie in with convenience trends across the food industry,” Wilda Haddad says.

Dina Foods will be displaying a selection of traditional artisanal flatbreads, ranging from Pitta to its signature Paninette® wraps to Lavash, Naans and Chapatti.

It will also showcase its premium quality Baklawa assortments, which are seeing sales take off with own-label customers around Europe.

Dina’s handmade Baklawa pieces are created with wafer-thin layers of filo pastry, sandwiched with crushed nuts, ghee and sugar syrup, baked to recipes that have been handed down from generation to generation.

The Baklawa assortments will be available to sample in food-safe individually packaged portions at PLMA.
