Bridge Media shows off packaging expertise at MCV Awards with stunning gift box

Creative print company Bridge Media used its very special talents and expertise to provide everyone who attended the prestigious MCV Awards 2016 with a gift box which brought a dash of style and flair to every table setting.

The MCV Awards, the UK’s only computer and video games awards, held at London’s Hilton Hotel, recognise games, publishing, retail, distribution, marketing, PR, events and media.

Bridge Media came up with a gift pack, for everyone who attended the awards, which showcased their expertise in designing and producing beautiful, classy and elegant packaging which catches the eye. Containing a pen, it used 300gsm Invercote creato, a smooth, two-sided, multi-layered solid bleached  board, ideal for the packaging of luxury products, printed digitally with serialised coding and Printsense high build digital varnish. The gift pack had an inner fitment of APET (Amorphous PET)  sheet, a thermoplastic sheet which is produced by the extrusion processing of Polyethylene Terephthalate (APET) copolymer. The high gloss and sparkling clarity of APET made it perfect for this packaging.

“We pride ourselves on being able to take a product and design the packaging for maximum audience impact and usability, whilst using economical manufacturing processes,” says Managing Director Phil Mayne. “The pen pack we produced for the MCV awards demonstrates this perfectly. We knew the room would be dimly lit, so we incorporated a glow stick and a laser cut logo to produce a fantastic visual effect, which really made our branding stand out.”

“It was a great opportunity for us to demonstrate to the games industry, the sector in which many of our most valued clients operate, that we can offer whole promotional packages from concept, design, lead generation tactics and follow up,” he says. “There was an opportunity to win an iPad Mini by registering the unique code on the pack on our website, while a tear out business card made sure that everyone who attended the MCV Awards has our contact details.”

“We were proud to sponsor the MCV Awards and proud to have a chance to show off the great service, from idea to finished packaging, that we can offer the games industry,” he says.
