Book Your Free Place at NFU Mutual’s ‘Food and Drink Forum’

High-profile food and drink industry professionals come together to help South-East businesses to prosper.

NFU Mutual in Ashford and Tenterden is bringing together a host of high-profile experts in the food and drink industry at a free event aimed at helping businesses in the South East to succeed through a series of presentations and workshops.

On Tuesday 13th June, NFU Mutual will be hosting the event ‘Mutual Solutions – Food and Drink Forum’ between 9.30am to 2.30pm at Brands Hatch Place Hotel in Fawkham, and is inviting businesses across the region to join the event for free.

Keynote speaker Edward Perry, Managing Director of high-end frozen food company COOK, will be kicking off the event with an inspirational speech. Following this will be presentations from risk management company Red 24 on how to avoid a product recall situation, Sue Nelson from Breakthrough Funding on emerging food trends, and Steve McLaughlin from IT service company Steve Mac Media who will address cyber security issues.

In addition, special guest Penny Haslam will be chairing the event. Penny is a senior business journalist and producer for BBC Radio 4.  She has also presented the business news on BBC Breakfast, the News Channel and BBC Radio 5 Live; and she has been a reporter for Panorama investigations and The One Show.

Tickets to the event are free and include refreshments and a buffet lunch. Following lunch, delegates will have the opportunity to attend a choice of workshops including ‘Brexit and the labour issue’, ‘The Power of Social Media’ by Suzanne Howe of Suzanne Howe Communications and Campden BRI, on the subject of ‘New build plans’.
