PortaBrands presents out-of-this-world solutions for out-of-home drinks

PortaBrands is gearing up to wow visitors to the London Coffee Festival with a host of ground-breaking concepts from its award-winning range of out-of-home drinks carriers.

The Festival takes place at the Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane in London from 27-29 April.  Among the eye-catching innovations from PortaBrands on display at the event will be the PortaTray™, a flat-pack, pop-up drinks carrier that requires just half the storage space of traditional products.

Designed to take cups of most sizes, as well as small bottles, the 4-cup kraftboard carrier splits easily into two 2-cup trays, making it one of the most versatile multi-drink trays available and eliminating the need for businesses to hold two different kinds of drinks tray in stock.

Safe and easy to use, the PortaTray™ can be ‘clicked up’ in seconds by staff and consumers, cutting queuing times by up to 25% and helping to guarantee a smooth flow of trade and satisfied customers.

Equally impressive is the PortaDrink®, an innovative one-handed carrier designed for 2, 3 or 4 cups containing a range of hot and cold beverages and liquids, including coffees, teas, soups and smoothies.  No assembly is required, ensuring no delays in service times.

Exhibiting on Stand HP28, PortaBrands will also be highlighting a revolutionary new kraft cartonboard ice bucket – the PortaChilla™ – which boasts a ground-breaking water-proof design, incorporating a silicon lining, that means it won’t leak even when the ice starts to melt.

Capable of holding two bottles of Champagne or wine or up to eight bottles of beer – plus glasses – the PortaChilla™ comes flat-packed, but features a pop-up configuration that means it is extremely quick and easy for bar and table staff to assemble, even when they are under pressure at the busiest of times.

The PortaChilla™ is particularly suited to outdoor entertainment events of all kinds, especially in the warm-weather months.  It can be branded on all sides, opening up potentially lucrative promotional and sponsorship opportunities, and doesn’t present a safety hazard or theft risk like plastic and metal ice buckets.

Kevin Curran, managing director of PortaBrands, said: “Every one of our drinks carrier solutions is designed to enhance all aspects of the out-of-home drinking experience, from the perspective of both the drinks vendor and the consumer.

“PortaBrands is the UK’s leading producer of out-of-home drinks carriers and we’re proud to be supplying a wide range of leading coffee chains and fast-food operators, among others. We look forward to welcoming visitors to the London Coffee Festival to our stand to experience our fantastic packaging solutions first-hand.”
